Current Research

Utilization of Agent Based Modeling to characterize acute inflammation at a cellular and molecular level. Focus is primarily on the pathophysiology of sepsis and multiple organ failure. Currently using primarily StarlogoT and Netlogo. Also interested in automated text analysis/information extraction from biomedical texts, formal knowledge representation in biomedicine and the development of methods for evolving biomedical ontologies.
