Swarmfest 2012

• Dates:
  • Swarmfest 2012 will start Sunday morning, July 29 and finish in the evening of Monday, July 30.
  • Swarmfest is an ideal venue to present early/preliminary/work-in-progress projects. Abstracts are welcome in any area associated with agent-based modeling. This can include domain specific applications of agent-based modeling, theory associated with modeling in general and ABM in particular, ABM toolkit development and implementation of ABMs on different computer platforms. In recent years all accepted submissions have been able to present oral presentations, and presenters should be prepared for a very interactive environment. Abstracts should be 1 page in length and emailed to swarmfest2012@gmail.com

  • We will be taking place at the downtown campus of the University of North Carolina, Charlotte http://centercity.uncc.edu/ under the sponsorship of the Complex Systems Institute at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte http://complexity.uncc.edu/ .

  • Sunday Night, July 29: Dinner at Brixx Wood-fired Pizza http://brixxpizza.com/locations/charlotte-uptown tentatively set for 7 PM.
  • Monday Night, July 30: TBD
  • Both dinner and lunch on Sunday and Monday are included in the Registration Fee.
