Current developers

Your name here?

Currently, the SDG has no paid staff to perform development, and we are a purely volunteer effort, thanks to dedicated helpers in the user community. Active developers working on CVS include Bill Northcott and other emeritus developers (see below) who contribute from time to time.

However, we are currently looking for funds to help continue paid development. To help us find staff, help the SDG by joining! Contact Paul Johnson <pauljohn@ukans.edu> for more information.

Emeritus developers

  • Manor Askenazi. Manor is now working at Coopers & Lybrand.

User Community

Many people from the user community have contributed to the development of Swarm, especially, Sven Thommesen <sthomme@humsci.auburn.edu> who has contributed the Random library under the auspices of the School of Human Sciences at Auburn and the National Textile Center. Eric Carr and JJ Merelo have been patient Swarm users and developers. Howard Gutowitz and David Hiebeler have participated in the design process. David is also the implementor of the original Swarm prototype. Finally, many thanks to Simon Fraser, Swarm graphic designer extraordinaire.
