NewsFirst Announcement for Swarmfest 2010!!!June 20-22, 2010 in Santa Fe, NMWe are happy to announce the site and dates for Swarmfest 2010. We will be returning to Santa Fe at the Santa Fe Complex (Website http://sfcomplex.org/wordpress/ ) from Sunday, June 20 to Tuesday, June 22, 2010. We will be arranging a special Swarmfest rate at the Sage Inn (Website http://www.santafesageinn.com/ ); details to follow soon. Abstract submissions can be sent to Swarmfest2010@gmail.com as 1 page .pdf files. Topics welcomed include: domain specific applications of Agent-based modeling, ABM toolkit development, optimization and analysis of ABMs, and implementation of ABMs on high-performance computing platforms. Pavel is investigated ways to describe models using ontologies and Haruka looked at ways to control simulations by wire using a web browser, and probably using XML-RPC.
