I don't think it's wise to fill up the main page with all the sub-pages, especially not related to the SDG. We want it at the top; but, there's a bunch of junk the average person won't be interested in. --gepr 20:06 27 Jan 2004 (EST)
- I've only included the top level links (as I did for software), I wasn't going to include the other ones, so it shouldn't clutter things up too much. I think having a link to he SDG members page on the main page makes sense. --Alex 20:09 27 Jan 2004 (EST)
- What's the protocol, here? do I indent twice to reply to you to simulate threading?
- Yep, it's a bit clumsy, but it's the wiki-way... ;-) Alex 19:32 28 Jan 2004 (EST)
- Anyway, that sounds fine. I just don't want to clutter it up too much. I agree that the members page should get visible billing. -- gepr 15:04 28 Jan 2004 (EST)
- OK. Alex 19:32 28 Jan 2004 (EST)
Hi Alex. I'm not sure if this is how I do this (being new to Wikis). Thanks for your message. I'm looking for information on using Swarm in the Java development environment IntelliJ: http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/ I can get it to recognise the library by adding the JAR files to the classpath, but it seems to need to run javaswarm, and I can't tell it about that. Any ideas? Or do you know anyone who uses a Java IDE with Swarm? Thanks. Lindsayward
- Yep, it's exactly how you do this. The user talk pages act like message boards, when you leave a message on my talk page, I see a "you have new messages" link. I'll leave a message on your talk page, and you will get one too. As for technical information on Swarm, best to join the Swarm: Mailing lists as this wiki is not really used for discussion, rather for documenting established processes contributing answers to FAQs and links to other resources. I haven't used Java Swarm for ages and never with an IDE, but there are plenty of folks on the mailing lists which will probably have ideas. Alex 08:48, 26 Oct 2004 (EDT)
