Talk:Tools for Agent-Based Modelling
From SwarmWiki
To whomever added the link to the SeSAm kit: http://www.simsesam.de, please add a link to the source code. I cannot find a link to the source code, or any reference to which open-source license this simulation toolkit is released under, hence cannot evaluate whether it is truly open-source. Please followup here with further information. Thanks. --Alex 04:22, 27 Jul 2004 (EDT)
- The source code is contained as a zip-archive in every distribution of the download-section. SeSAm is under the LGPL-Licence. Rainer 31 Jul 2004
- Rainer, thanks for the clarification. Might be a good idea to note this in a very prominent position on your website (i.e. on the main page, and in the download section) and include a tar.gz or zip file include just the source (i.e. without the shell script self-installing thing) that does not require having a jre installed so that people can simply view the code without installing it. --Alex 05:53, 4 Aug 2004 (EDT)
