TITLE: Agent-Based Modeling meets Ambient Computing for Participatory Modeling

ABSTRACT: I will demonstrate recent work at Santa Fe Complex <http://www.sfcomplex.org> for developing immersive interactive worlds intended to host agent-based models. Components of an ongoing NSF collaboration between SFComplex, University of New Mexico and the Institute of American Indian Arts will be discussed and will include projector warping and blending techniques to recreate planetarium dome experiences in non-uniform surfaces. We'll also demonstrate mobile phone interactions with accelerometer and touchpad interfaces for collaborative modeling.
